This notice explains what Vector and Wing Limited does with personal data collected through this website. We are the data controller for that information, and we are registered in England & Wales under company number 17367147.
You can reach us about anything on this page at [email protected], or by post at Vector and Wing Limited, 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
What we collect, and why
The fit call form
If you fill in the form on the homepage we collect your name, your email address, your company name if you give one, which of the four options best describes what you need, and whatever you write in the message box.
We use it for one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to it. It is not used for marketing, it is not added to a mailing list, and it is not sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form and can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
The form does not write to a database on this site. It sends the enquiry to us as an email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and it then lives in our inbox. If a send fails, the contents are written to our server's error log so the enquiry is not simply lost, and we delete that log entry once we have dealt with it.
Web server logs
Our web server records the usual technical details of each request — the IP address it came from, the page requested, the time, the browser's user-agent string, and any error. We use these to keep the site up and to investigate abuse or faults. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in a site that works and is not being attacked.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It is off by default. Nothing is requested from Google and no analytics cookie is set unless you press "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner, and declining or ignoring the banner means the Google tag is never loaded at all.
If you do accept, Google Analytics sets cookies beginning
_ga that give your browser a random identifier, and
records things like which pages you viewed, roughly where in the
world you are, and what kind of device you used. Google Analytics 4
does not store your IP address. We see this only as aggregated
statistics — we cannot use it to identify you, and we do not try to.
The lawful basis is your consent.
Remembering your cookie choice
Whichever button you press, we store that answer in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. That is the only thing we store without asking, because it exists purely to honour the choice you made, and it never leaves your browser.
Changing your mind about analytics
Withdrawing consent should be as easy as giving it. The button below forgets your choice, clears the Google Analytics cookies this site set, and brings the banner back so you can answer again.
Who else sees your data
- Resend — delivers the enquiry email. They process the contents of the form on our behalf.
- Our hosting and email providers — they hold the server the site runs on and the mailbox the enquiry lands in.
- Google — only if you accepted analytics, and only the analytics data described above.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK it is covered by the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers, such as the UK extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted, unless they have become part of a project record we need for accounting or contractual reasons.
- Server logs — kept for no more than 90 days.
- Analytics — retained by Google for the period set on our Google Analytics property, after which it is deleted by Google automatically.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our processing it, and ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without giving a reason.
Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. This version was published in September 2026.
